Soror Dantrea was chosen to receive  the Woman of Distinction Award from Kentucky State University. This award is granted by the University to an employee, alumnus or community leader in honor or their achievement and excellence within their profession. She contributes meaningful devotion to improving  and enhancing the well-being of all through service and aiding as a role model to others, particularly  women. She actively exemplifies a commitment to transforming lives and advancing the mission, goals, and programs of Kentucky State University.
